Born in Cardiff in 1945, four months before the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, I trained as a graphic designer in the 1960s, and followed a career as a museums exhibition designer until 2003. I now write novels (thrillers), short stories, and when I can find the time paint vintage aircraft and wildlife. Widowed in 1997, I am now married, have two sons and live in Yorkshire.

My first novel South Atlantic Soldier appeared in 2012. Amazon reviews average 4.3 out of 5 stars. Snapshots, my short story collection, was published in 2013. All are available in paperback and Kindle form.

12 years service in the Territorial Army In the 1970s and 1980s, has given me a rich source of material for my books.

I am currently writing Skelter’s Falklands, the 4th in the series featuring SAS soldier Mark Skelter. Helter Skelter, the first in the series, was published 2014, the sequel, Skelter’s Vengeance, in 2015, followed by Skelter’s Final Duty, in September 2016.
In 2023 I published a stand-alone Novel, The Dove That Grew Talons.
